Sumtrip does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your data stays on your device
The trips, flights, stays, prices and notes you enter are stored only on your phone. I cannot see them. If you export a backup, the file goes wherever you choose to save it.
Maps
To show maps, the app downloads map images from OpenFreeMap (openfreemap.org). Like any web request, this shares your IP address and the map area being shown with that service. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
Address search (iPhone)
When you search an address for a stay, the text you type is sent to Apple's geocoding service to find it on the map. Apple's privacy policy applies. Sumtrip never asks for or uses your location.
Links
Links you save open in your browser. Websites you visit have their own privacy policies.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is handled by the App Store or Google Play. I receive no payment details and no information about who you are.
Children
Sumtrip is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
